Dr. Rick,
I am 52 yrs. old and have been involved in part-time church music for 31 years, serving 2 churches during that time. I have a bachelors degree in Music Education from Auburn University ('84) but have never felt strongly about teaching music in schools. I am currently working in a local printing company, but I am considering a career change. I am praying for God's direction about possibly entering the full-time ministry in some capacity. I would love to serve some growing church as Worship/Music Minister but would consider any position that involves music in conjunction with some other area of ministry. I must say that I do not feel strongly led to any type of youth ministry. I realize that this greatly limits my employment potential as many churches combine music and youth.
Would LMBI offer any course of study that could help me in my efforts? I would appreciate any advice you might have for me.
